There are numerous volunteering opportunities in the greater Philly area and probably even more people who would love to give their time and energy to a cause. It would be great if we can bring the two together and create a group that can reach out to a variety of needs in the community.
The hope is to start with small, consistent, non-political, local activities and gradually expand in size, region and scope. There is no other specific agenda at the moment, besides the ones mentioned already - members are merely provided with opportunities to contribute ideas and practical contribution whenever they can.
