New York Volunteer Meetup - March Event

ATTENTION CORE GROUP MEMBERS, BRAINSTORMERS AND OTHER REGULARS. PLEASE RSVP NOW SO I KNOW THAT YOU'RE COMING!

So, here we go again, it's already time to schedule our next meetup, so check your calendars and weigh in as soon as possible.

In March we'll be doing something a little different, and I hope you'll all be able to make it. We're going to have as our guests two Volunteer Coordinators from the March of Dimes. They will speak to us about various volunteering opportunities within the organization and they will also be recruiting us to join in on the Walk for Babies event on Sunday, April 27th. These sponsored walks that they hold every year are great fun and will double as our field event for the month of April as well!

SO, ARE WE MAKING A DIFFERENCE OUT THERE?

Yes! I've been in touch with many of the presenters we've had in the past and they tell me they've been successful in recruiting people from our group for short-term, long-term and even full-time paid opportunities. In fact some of them will visit us again on March 12th.

That's great news!

Now let's get excited about our TENTH MEETING and look forward to meeting the folks from the March of Dimes on the 12th and learning how we can make this year a big success for this worthy cause. So, come meet with like-minded folks who, like yourself, believe that giving is receiving. Make new friends and discuss how we can become proactive about helping. RSVP YES today and please make it.

As usual, the meetup is free but the bar does have a one drink minimum (if you get there before 7:00 there's usually a happy hour.)
