Artemis Volunteers is a community service organization for lesbians, bisexual women, and their friends. Artemis' goal is to encourage community service and promote a visible lesbian presence, by sponsoring one day service projects to assist humanitarian and environmental not-for-profit organizations in our communities. We make volunteering easy with no long term commitment; sign-up for only those projects that interest you and fit your schedule. Click on "About Us" to find out more about our organization. What: National River Cleanup Day with the San Francisquito Watershed Council, East Palo Alto
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We will be picking up litter in and along the San Francisquito Creek to assist on National River Cleanup Day.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:
Long Pants, Sturdy Shoes, Gloves, Sunscreen, Cap/hat. Water. Read more
