Welcome to the United Planet (UP) International Volunteering Group!
This group is sponsored by United Planet, a Boston-based leading international and educational organization devoted to promoting cross-cultural understanding via volunteer abroad programs.
UP Volunteers can take part in short term Quests (1-12 weeks) in 16 locations worldwide and long-term Quests (6-12 months) in over 35 locations worldwide. Volunteers can work on a variety of cultural and community projects; work with children in a Romanian orphanage, construct housing in Chile, provide dental care to Cambodian children and provide healthcare in Guatemala, Peru and Tanzania.
Out Meetup Group is designed to bring people of all ages and cultures together to exchange ideas about international volunteering and travel experiences in a friendly and social environment. Our Boston UP team will be on-hand to answer all your questions about volunteering abroad and how you can make a difference in the world and your own community.
